Basic Computer Specifications

Canvas is designed for maximum compatibility and minimal requirements. You can view a list of basic computer system requirements here: What are the basic computer specifications for Canvas? It is always recommended to use the most up-to-date versions and better connections, but Canvas will still run with the minimum specifications.

Student Computer Labs

PCs and high-speed internet access are available to students in computer labs located on each of the Holy Family campuses. Every PC includes Microsoft Office, SPSS 21 statistical software, and other software applications needed for your courses.

Personal Computers & Devices

You can also use your own high-speed Internet connected PC or Mac to complete your work. Holy Family has partnered with Microsoft to provide Office 365 for free to all current students. Office 365 includes the Office suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access), and is accessible online from any compatible computer or device.
