Holy Family University has selected a learning management system (LMS) called Canvas to replace Blackboard for all of our courses: face-to-face, hybrid, and online. If you use Blackboard now, you will switch to using Canvas. This self-paced course contains a series of short videos and guides designed to help you learn how to use Canvas. Videos and guides can be viewed in any order.

Technical Requirements

Canvas runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, or any other device with a modern web browser (Supported browsers and basic computer specifications). Canvas supports the last two versions of every browser release.
